Rajarshi Purkayastha (Raj) is the Head of Pre-Sales, India, MECAA & SAARC, for Tata Communications which is part of the Tata Group which is valued at more than $100 billion. He is responsible for understanding the market from an overall perspective to enable his stakeholders to have meaningful discussions, make quicker decisions and help keep them ahead of the curve.

Raj worked in multiple roles in Tata Communications over last 15 years, starting from Pre-Sales Head for N&E India and APAC, Head Solutions - TSG, Sales Head - Africa and Saudi, Head, Marketing Insights, Head of Product & Services Marketing team, before taking over his present responsibility.

Among his other notable projects, the one in Africa where he was part of the core team responsible to build a telecom company from scratch in Botswana stands out as per him.
